I worked as an editorial intern for The Virginia Gazette in Williamsburg, Virginia, for six months after graduating from The College of William and Mary. There, I covered various beats, including health care, local politics, and business; I was also responsible for shooting my own photos. I got my start in journalism at the College's student-run newspaper, The Flat Hat, where I explored different roles but ultimately served as news editor from 2018 to 2019.
